Living amid the COVID-19 outbreak may feel strange

Living amid the COVID-19 outbreak may feel strange and daunting. More so, planning celebrations is sometimes swept under the rug because there is a visceral sense that it isn't sensitive and safe to do it. Hence, brides, grooms, and celebrants waved white flags as they postponed their celebrations with sadness. But when a glimmer of hope landed on their lap, a renewed faith and perseverance fueled the passion for seeing the silver lining. Life is short, and it goes on. Most pushed through abiding safety protocols and government guidelines, while some rescheduled but look forward to continuity in plans.

But despite the wheels of motion, dealing with emotions during this difficult time is a different story. Most face episodes of heartaches, anxieties, and meltdowns. But with every fall, loving arms catch, support, and embrace us.

Today, we want to honor the amazing moms who have become the anchor of our dearest clients as they grasped hope and faith in celebrating their weddings and events amid the pandemic. It was no easy feat. But with the shining LIGHT that illuminates their path, they never, for one second, got lost or faltered.

Happy Mother's Day to our safe place, our solace, and our beacon of hope!

"You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, and there's still going to be somebody who hates peaches."

And that rings true. We cannot please everyone, and somebody will always find negative things about us. But even if we are not the sweetest peach in the world, we will always be our mothers' favorite. The love of our mothers is beyond compare - it is eternal, boundless, and unconditional.

So even though we are not radiant, dusky rose and gold, and with skin so plush like a pretty peach, nobody can pick us from the tree. Because we are loved just the way we are, forever, by our moms.

This May, the flowers will bloom, and a rekindled hope will reawaken. After a month (or a year) of the downward slope, faith doesn't dwindle. Fetes paused a bit, but here we are again, about to rise with beautiful feasts worth celebrating. From hereon, there’s no way but up!
